A Smart Move To Black Xlock

Euroglaze is offering its complete range of composite doors with a new smart door option using ABS’ simple and secure Black Xlock keyless cylinder system.

The fabricator chose the system for its flexibility. It can be fitted on doors with a lever handle, escutcheon or pull bar.

It is available in six different finishes including black, white, brass, chrome and nickel to suit the style and colour of any panel.

ABS Black Xlock

The ABS Black Xlock uses advanced keyless technology to allow users to lock, unlock and monitor the status of their door using either their phone, an xKey fob, XPad keybad, Wi-Fi bridge or NFC tag.

It is ideal for both homeowners and landlords as it allows users to either share the App directly with family, friends and trusted visitors; create temporary or limited access codes for anyone who needs to enter their property; or lock and unlock remotely.

Users get notifications about who has unlocked the door. When they pair the App with a Wi-Fi bridge, they can control the Black Xlock from anywhere in the world.

Upsell opportunity

Nicky Park, Euroglaze’s senior business development associate, said: “The Black Xlock is a simple and cost-effective upgrade for our trade customers and gives them lots of opportunities to upsell their installations and increase their margins.

“It has all the physical and digital security protections required, with both facial and fingerprint recognition and full 128-bit AES encryption. And, for complete reassurance, it even comes with two traditional cut keys which can be used in an emergency.”
