Absolutely Slabulous

Matching foiled windows to doors has become easier for installers who by from Deceuninck fabricators as the company is now offering Regalead foiled slabs.

The range includes foiled flat panels and specialist decorative designs, helping customers carry their chosen finish across more elements of a home.

Lower thermal movement

Manufactured in the UK, RegaLead’s panels combine a high-pressure laminate skin with an insulating extruded polystyrene core. The HPL skin allows a broad range of foiled finishes and offers less thermal movement than traditional PVC skins, helping to minimise deformation when darker colours are exposed to direct sunlight.

Delivering the finish

“Colour is an important part of our customers’ offer. The choice needs to extend beyond the window frame,” said Chris Jones, the sales director at Deceuninck. “Being able to match door panels and decorative details gives fabricators and installers more scope to deliver the finish a homeowner wants.

“Our partnership with RegaLead builds on the investment we have made in our colour range, giving customers more ways to use those finishes across their product offer.”

Door components

Alongside flat panels, the range includes inset mouldings, raised and fielded panels, tongue and groove designs, and bolection mouldings. These combine insulated panels with foiled aluminium profiles to create details associated with traditional timber doors.

Specification

Specialist panels are manufactured to order at finished sizes, with options including single or double-sided designs and horizontal or vertical tongue and groove detailing.

The panel range is available in different reinforcement configurations, including options using marine-grade plywood, allowing fabricators to select a construction suited to their requirements.
